Dinner #39 on January 14, 2016

Happy New Year Seattle Girl Geeks!

Please join us as we kick off our 2016 event series at Twitter Seattle for light appetizers, drinks, and a look at the different career paths in tech.

We’ll kick the evening off with tech talks from one of Seattle’s Senior Software Engineers, Jie Jin, and a Staff Software Engineer from Periscope, Sara Haider. Jie will be covering “Building Mobile Applications for Unreliable Networks”, and Sara will show the tech behind Periscope, Twitter’s real-time broadcasting product. Following that, we’ll add a great lineup of panelists who are excited to share their experiences and personal journeys: how they got here and why they love their current positions.

Come prepared with questions – we’ll open it up to the floor at the end for Q&A. We hope you finish the night with some new friends, knowledge and ideas!

6:00pm – 6:45pm: Registration, food & drink, networking
